But he can be really outrageous at times, doing things which even take him by surprise, like parachute jumping after only thirty minutes of "intensive" training, or swimming in a freezing lake after a scorching sauna in Siberia's snowy, dark forests, drinking cups and cups of tequila with raw and cheesy pork… Looks are deceptive. When you first set eyes on him, you would no doubt think him a good college boy without any record of mischief. At least he himself is convinced that he is an outstanding graduate of Peking University, with a serious major in International Communication. As a logical outcome, he works in the CRI Newsroom, which is a serious job.
The moment Monty secures his new DJ job, the restlessness inherent in his blood is immediately awakened. He's sure he will have a good time in the funky music world of Easy FM, 'cause he is crazy about dance music, capable of dancing all nightwithout taking a break.
Monty is a good singer. He often sings in the backyard of his home. The neighbors used to find it rather irritating. But they've come to like it. If one day they don't hear him signing at a fixed time in the afternoon, they wonder what's happened to Monty and make a phone call. They are happier now, because they can hear Monty every afternoon on the radio. What's important to them is that they can shut Monty off, by switching off their radio any time theywant.
